The Blackcat bookshop has been selling second hand books in Leicester since 1987. We started business in a victorian galleried arcade, but have recently moved to much larger premises now on two floors in the center of Leicester. 5 minutes walk from the bus and train stations, with the Halford Street NCP car park directly behind the shop.

We also sell books and memorabilia through eBay - it's always worth
having a look to see what we've got for sale - you may pick up a
bargain!

We sell British Comics and annuals through the collectable comics
website 26pigs - check out our page on their site.

We appreciate that many customers and collectors still prefer to have a printed catalogue - if you would like one of our regular lists, please let us know.

We also do many different fairs around the country, but you can
usually find us at the Memorabilia fair at Birmingham NEC, The pulp
paperback fair at the Thistle hotel, Victoria station fair in London,
and the London Art, Book & British Comic show.

We specialise in Science fiction and fantasy, Horror, Literature,
Childrens Fiction, childrens annuals, TV and film spin-off books
and annuals, many non-fiction subjects, Pop & Rock, Books records,
magazines, CDs, Local Interest.
